So which movie did you like better? Or did you think both of them were horrible? Kuheli's put up a review of both the movies and I shall be putting up my reviews of the two films too...
In the meanwhile why don't you take the Om Shanti Om vs Saawariya Poll:
OSO is exactly wat it promised to be..a masala spoof with a little bit of everything. Loooved the Rajni spoof (rascala is such a cool word to use!) and the filmfare sequence. It definitely deserves a dekko and the three stars everyones given it (specially if seen in context of her previous venture Main hu na). Unfortunately there was potential to achieve a lot more. With a crew including King Khan and a director who can make 31 actors appear in one song, u have enough authority to take the spoof to a much more irreverant or daring level. Wat we saw was however the same old impersonations which people like Shekhar Suman and various comic artists are doing for over a decade; only it was on the bigger screen and by a much bigger name. There was no freshness in the script itself..no spoof on the stories or the dialogues or the endings of various movies or even the actors personal lives and affairs.. The script could have been much much more original and wacky. But then hopefully this is just the beginning and will usher in the era of better spoofs.
